The Dilwara Temple in Mount Abu is the world famous temple for its architecture. Use of the marble and its unique design is very attractive. It is the finest Jain temple. The temple is very beautiful and by sitting in the temple gives you an excellent feeling which one cannot define in words.

2 . ALLAHABAD

5 . JOSHIMATH
The Joshimath means the monastery of light. The Joshimath is located in the state of Uttarakhand in the district of Chamoli. There are many temples and religious sites. One of the four main Shankaracharya Math is also located here. 6 . SARNATH
The holy city of Sarnath is located at about 10 kms from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. It is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. The Sarnath is one of the holiest site of the Buddhist pilgrimage in India.

7. SHEIKH SALIM CHISTI DARGAH
The Sheikh Salim Chishti Dargah is a famous place of Islamic people in India. It is built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, as once the Sheikh Salim Chishti had predicted that Akbar would have three sons and his predication had came true. To honor the saint, Akbar commissioned the Dargah. The atmosphere in and around dargah is divine. 8 . HAJI ALI
Haji Ali dargah is dedicated to Muslim Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, located in the Southern Mumbai. It is believed to be a must visit place for the Muslims in India. During the death anniversary of the saint special Islamic rituals are performed.

Se Cathedral Church is located in Goa and is a famous religious place for the Christians. The church is dedicated to St. Catherine. Inside of the church is a combination of Mosaic-Corinthian style having the principal chapel.
10 . MAHABODHI TEMPLE
The Mahabodhi Temple Complex is one of the four holy sites related to the life of the Lord Buddha, and particularly to the attainment of Enlightenment. The Mahabodhi Temple Complex, Bodh Gaya lies 115 km south of the state capital of Bihar, Patna in Eastern India. The main complex contains a descendant of the original Bodhi Tree under which Gautama Buddha gained enlightenment and is the most sacred place in Buddhism. 11 . GOLDEN TEMPLE
The Golden Temple is known as the Shri Harmandir Sahib. It is very famous among the Sikhs all over the world. Not only the Sikhs but people of all casts or race can seek spiritual solace here. The idea of creating a central place for worship for the Sikhs was of Guru Arjan Sahib, the fifth guru. Guru Arjan Sahib himself designed the architecture of the Golden Temple.
Whether it is a Hindu temple or a Muslims Dargah, a Sikh Gurudwara or a Christian Church all these spiritual or religious places show us the way to peacefulness.
